Thank you so much for your support of Interweave: Ministry in the Mother Love for the Modern World
Your contribution directly supports scholarship opportunities for retreat participants and SoulDance attendees, reduced rate access to spiritual direction, as well as the many hours of unpaid work that are part of every minister's call-- writing, praying, receiving guidance from Sophia, and general pastoral care. This an emergent field, innovative in its edge-walking. Your support of this work deeply, deeply encourages and sustains me, and all those served. Thank you.
Please note this is NOT a tax-deductible donation. At this point in time, Interweave Ministries is an LLC, not a non-profit organization. Thank you for your understanding and generous, ongoing support.

She’s a saint! She’s a sinner! She’s a sister in Sophia.
Mary Magdalene has been a central character, captivating people’s imaginations for millennia. She has taken on so many forms of feminine archetypes– both those in the light and in the shadows. She has been cast as both sinner and saint, whore and sacred partner, liberated woman and fallen repentant. But who is she really? And what’s her medicine for us today? What happens when we remove her from patriarchy’s clutches and relate to her as sister, friend, sovereign to herself, and powerful teacher in her own right? What are the energies we might tap into, and embody ourselves?
In celebration of her feast day, join us for a mini-retreat diving into her mystery, her magic and her mastery.
Sunday, July 19th, 2026
12 noon - 3:00 pm Central Time
Zoom retreat space-- option to attend in live time or receive the recording

I’s of the Soul
This is the journey of the spirit through the body. We bring awareness to the space within as we carve our path through our existence. When spirit has the space to move freely, we find ecstasy. Ecstasy, not as an escape or a high, but as embodied awareness and presence.
“The path to ecstasy is up through the five layers of consciousness, the five levels through which energy most naturally flows from purely physical existence to its highest spiritual potentials. “ ~ Gabrielle Roth Maps to Ecstasy
The 5Rhythms will be our container and guide. Flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness are the teachers that will inform our exploration. The 5Rhythms is our practice and our ritual.
Join me on this I-map of the soul’s journey to ecstasy as we explore inertia, imitation, intuition, imagination and inspiration together on the dance floor.

“Authentic” is a word that’s thrown around a lot these days, so much so that it can easily become performative. But what if we could reclaim it, in the way only the true wisdom of our body, our soma, really can? What if we let ourselves get back down to the basics– this breath, this stretch, this impulse towards motion, this funk that overtakes the body and makes us MOVE? What might it do for our nervous systems, and for the world, if we get to just BE who we are? Join us to explore all the many ways we might be our authentic selves, in sacred dancing community. Join us to become more human, more awake and alive, the dancing way!
7 Wednesdays, starting March 24th
March 25th; April 1, 8, 15 (BREAK– No Class April 22), 29th ; May 6 & 13th

There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. If you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not yours to determine how good it is;
nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.
No artist is ever pleased. There is no satisfaction whatsoever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction; a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.

Celebrating the long days of summer, the heat of life, and this embodied becoming

Summer approaches… how are you feeling about that? Even though I was born in late summer, under the blazing July sun, I was also born under the dark balsamic moon… I prefer the dark! I have to intentionally lean into summer… appreciate its heat, welcome its warming power, embrace the growing light. How is it for you?
Summer brings us so many gifts… berries bursting from vines, fruits ripening, flowers blooming, lots of excuses to go to the pool, float in the river, enjoy the waters of earth. With summer comes celebration– festivals and farmer’s markets, plays in the park and long days to enjoy time with friends.
In this SoulDance ceremony, we welcome a spirit of celebration! We lean into the seasonal heat that is so sacred for our human and earth systems, our sweat prayer pouring forth, our dance that is a step by step, beat by beat journey into expanding wholeness, this season and every season! Join us.
